OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Director at Maritime Respiratory Care

Kami Smith DIRECTOR OF ATLANTIC OPERATIONS

Kami is our Director of Clinical Operations for the Atlantic region, overseeing both NB and PEI clinics.

Kami was born and raised in Petitcodiac, NB. She attended Holland College in PEI, graduating in 1993 as a General Accountant/Bookkeeper.

Years later, after selling her practise, she decided to further her education, driven by her unfollowed passion; health care.  She became a Registered Respiratory Therapist in 2012, and has worked in various roles since that time: Acute care, Home Care, Air Ambulance and Sleep Medicine.

She founded Tri County Sleep Clinic in NB, maintaining her ties to Prince Edward Island.  She currently works part time as a clinician at Prince County Hospital in Summerside, as she enjoys the environment and keeping her clinical skills relevant. Kami prides herself in being a clinician first and above all.  She sees patients as people, and her empathetic and dedicated approach, coupled with her years of experience and hybrid skill set makes her an excellent clinician and leader.

Kami enjoys spending time with friends and family, her boys, and her grandsons, whenever possible. You'll usually find her with her dog Charlie in tow. She loves to travel to warmer climates in the winter, and swinging a golf club brings a smile to her face as well!
